Powerup Loop

Went to knock on my main PC just now, starts for all 2 seconds, boots down. Does this constantly trying to boot every 3-4seconds and knocks down again, power is going to the motherboard but it keeps doing this until i knock power supply switch off at that back of the psu, any suggestions?

Something may have came loose, check cpu & gfx card & cables are all still in ok.

Yea id guess at the cable connections.. most likely the psu cable

Could be your HDD? check to see what boot sequence is in the BIOS if you can get that far...

Cant get that far we talking 2 seconds max i get power up

Unplugged the gfx card as trial started up same situation.

Try resetting the CMOS, prob needs you to set a jumper somewhere and maybe remove the battery for 10 mins.

Try fiddling around with the jumpers then.
