Hi peeps
I have just found some old documents relating to some PPI I took out on a Graduate Loan in 2001. At the time I was starting my first job and on advice took the PPI. After about 6 months I realised this was going to be a steady job and sought to cancel the agreement as I'd been led to believe during my meeting at the banks. Effectively they said I'd still owe the same amount but without the protection. I put it down to a bad choice on my part and moved on.
I read about PPI in the papers but could never find the paperwork so let it lie. I have whilst clearing sorting stuff to chuck come across the original agreement.
What is the best way to proceed, contact my bank? If they re-buff me have I lost my opportunity or could I still go to an ambulance chaser?
The sum was £1368 in 2001, so it's worth chasing.
Any useful advice would be greatly appreciated, for all other advice I can find a letterbox by myself
