My monitors are not great, and i have been having trouble getting this image to look how i envisaged it.

I have trolled the goggleverse and i think i have managed to calibrate my screens as well as they can be.

I was playing with a home made studio set, black back drop, black slate base plate and a single flash.
I wanted to just illuminate the side of this lens to make it stand out in the dark but with me having monitor issues its not coming out as i wanted.

Is this image too dark? Is the lens not exposed properly? Can you see the back drop or base?

The next thing i would like to ask what IPS monitors are there in the £100 - £200 bracket, i know we are at the mercy of the mods here and cannot talk
about screens from else where other that OCUK but my trust is set up so please message me if OCUK cannot fulfill my needs ;)

Many thanks Buzz

because on my screen it is as i want it to look, the only visible part is the side of the lens illuminated by the flash, but others say it looks too dark others say they can see the base and back drop
(exposed too much).... i cant see the back drop or base and the lens looks perfectly exposed?

am at a loose end :(
