pr evolution 2008 problem

got a problem with pro evo 2008 thats really making me wish i never bought the game!!!!! ever since i updated the game to ver1.20 it kepps playing at 3 times the normal speed. sometimes it does randomly play at normal speed.

has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

my specs are :

cpu - opty 165 @2.5ghz
gpu - pny 8800gt
2gig ddr400
vista ultimate

yep tried turning off wait for v-sync and still no change.

the only thing ive got installed is kitserver, i'll try it without kitserver installed to see what happens.

just tried it with out kitserver installed and the only way i could get it to play at "normel" speed was to play at 1280x1024 with 16:9 ratio, but only played at that speed once. when i exited the game and loaded it up again it reverted back to playing at 3 times normal speed. so im back to square 1!!!!!

just loaded the option file you gave me and the speed went back to normal, had a quick game to make sure it was ok and everything went fine. exited the game and but wanted to make sure it wasnt a 1 off so loaded the game back up again and the game speed was AGAIN 3 times as quick as it should be!!! tried loading the option file again but still no luck.

just tried starting a new game at a different dificulty and it worked just the once yet again, saved the new master league (at different setting) exited the game and loaded it back up again and the speed was tripled. gona unintle the game and try again.

i only used the kitserver and not the evo patch. just serched the evo web forums and couldnt find the install notes about these two files i need to delete. anyone know what these two files are?

i wont be using the evo patch so wont need to delete these files. ive reinstalled the game and it has made a bit of difference because it plays normally nearlly all the time now.

does anyone know if theres gonna be a new patch out any time soon?
