Practical resit and 10 day wait q

Really quick question here, I failed my paractical (yaay) on Monday last (Aug 1), and have been checking on the booking site every half hour or so at the test centre I failed at, and I've finally managed to book one for the 12th (Sat).
However, after failing the test I was told by the examiner that I had to wait 10 days to resit the test, and by someone else on these boards that it was 10 working days. Would the 12th be after a suitable wait? Would they have allowed me to book if it wasn't?

you can take tests on saturdays and sundays (iirc if you pay more?) so see no reason for it to be 10 working days.

It is 10 working days. A friend from work recently failed and was advised this by our Test Centre.

well if they work sat and sunday (to get more cash from the sounds of things) they are working days...
