Parada spec 2s

Either Paradas or Avon ZZ3 to go on the front of my hatch. The Avons are nice, hard wearing and grip seems ok. The stiff sidewall helps turn in but makes it a bit bumpy. I reckon i have got 8-9k out of the current front pair.

Haven't really got any experience of the prada spec 2s. Both are about the same price in 205/40/17 size (£66-69). I have heard the pradas are amazing in the dry, which makes me guess they are quite soft.

Anyone got some input please? Thanks in advance

Si

I have Parada Spec 2s on my Civic.....probable the best tyre i have ever used to date.

Great in the dry (really high grip) and also good in the wet....my only concern is wear rate......but time will tell on that one....they still look fresh

I'm in the market for new boots soon, should I choose these over Eagle F1's?

Tyres are personal choice.......but having used both i do prefer the paradas...but like i say i aint sure on the wear rate as they have only been on for 1 month and a half.

From what I hear the Paradas are very well rated, the catch is that they are quite a bit more expensive last time I looked, although that might have changed now.

In fact Im going to have a looksee right now :D

I was looking at these but after reading various forums a lot of people have said how bad they were in the wet. I also spoke to someone who had them on his RS focus and he said they were terrible !

Umm tyres are such a pain in the ****

MyTyres don't seem to have them in my size (255/40/17 rear, 235/45/17 front)

Eagle F1's are £106 each for the rears, don't really want to pay much more than that TBH.

I got 255/40/17 F1s for under £100 each delivered last time from Micheldever although I have 225/45/17 on the front which were about £87 IIRC

It would seem they only do paradas in hatchback type sizes
