Anyone know any good hotels for max of £50 a night and also what are the must things to see and do?

Also to add I love my food so any good places to eat would be a bonus :)

Per person or per room?

I stayed in Mosaic House both times I went, IIRC it was about £35-40 per person, per night (twin room). Nice modern hotel with a really good little bar and events on most nights etc.

Per person sounds good how far was the walk to see main sights?
 
Well my fiancé went on a stag do there last year and all the boys were raving about the theatrical experience at Goldfingers. Possibly check that out if you're a culture vulture..
 
So is Prague still cheap?

Prices being bounced around here don't seem anything but normal.
120 quid for that meal seems as expensive as Sweden.

I thought eastern Europe cost pence....
 
Try airbnb. I would reccomend ours, but the guy wouldn't stop talking for about an hour. Eventually we had to tell him to leave, he stayed so long I thought my friend had messed up and booked us staying in a room rather than the whole apartment.

It was cheap though, like less than £140 for 3 nights for a two bed apartment.

This for £50 a night. Few minutes walk/tram away to the old town. Bargain.

Ye Airbnb is a good idea I have used it many times in the past will need a three bedroom but there plenty of good options.

So my understanding was it was cheap to eat and drink in Prague is this not the case?
 
I've used Airbnb every time I've been to Prague and it's great. Much more for you money and usually more central. Plus having your own kitchen/living room is much more relaxing I find.

Get somewhere fairly central and you can walk pretty much anywhere. Public transport is also pretty good!
