My friend that I like changed 2 numbers on my phone the other day between 2 of our friends, not that bad but there was the potential there that I could have said somethin to one of them about the other.

Anyway, not that big of a deal but I decided to get her back, the other day I got a letter from a Debt tracing agency sayin they'd found me and I owed them money. I wrote another letter to her in the same style sayin that due to an account at our old address (we were housemates) she owed 67p and what with the interest rate, now owed £480.

The name of the company was her intials backwards, the PO box was her birthday and her "reference number" was her phone number backwards. I searched call forwardin on Google and found a free service so I put a number down that would forward to my mobile.

Anyway, she's just moved into this new house where I know none of her bills are registered, I think the only possible thing she hsa registered is her work. Anyway, it must have got there today and I got a call from the number at like 6pm which I missed. And then there was another at like quarter psat which I answered pretending to be the company, it was her dad.

I naturally bricked it a little, I'd said to one of our friends who I told about that I was worried her dad might ring but she laughed it off. Anyway, I hung up and turned my phone off, thinkin it was gone too far already I immediately rang her and tried to explain but it kept goin straight to answerphone.

Anyway after ages I just left a message sayin look I'm sorry it was me, I didnt think it would go that far I'm really sorry.

Turned my phone back on and just got emssages from her tellin me how out of order I am and such.

Obviously I feel like crap but really, who here would have taken that for a joke? I told 2 of our friends first and they were both like yeah do it thats hilarious, I just dont think she can take any sort of joke.

Anyway, now she wont speak to me, I was hopin to have her round to mine this weekend to make my move but now isntead I doubt she'll ever talk to me again. Just wanted to vent.

I thought it was a pretty good prank.
 
I would have found that absolutly genius, you wouldnt be safe though because I'd have to think up something better to get you back with
 
obvious she has not got a sense of humour like you.

i found it funny and if i had been on the receiving end i would find it well funny.
 
hah got to love those who give it out but cant take it back. Phone her tell to stop being a little cry baby
 
thanks, I thought it was good as well! You lot all know about the clues her number etc. but even still. I genuinely thought she'd open it, panic, ring the number, done.

It was to do with money though and she can be a bit dodgy when it comes to money but still, her dad was a bank manager, who is gonna believe that 67p could rise to 480 quid in less than a year?

If I didnt proper like her (understatement) I would just say look its a joke, take it but I dont dare. I'll get a friend to do it, I might get her to point out that just at the end of uni her and her friends covered a guys entire room in tin foil, and when I say entire, I mean every last possible thing, from the ceiling to the coat hangers in his wardrobe.

He could have come home and gone beserk about his stuff but he didnt, it does annoy me people who can only dish it out and I can dish it out with the best of them.
 
Coming across as a ******* (mind your language) may work in your favour young jedi. Just play it cool and be friendly to her if you come across her again.

Whatever you do, don't beg forgiveness!
