I just received a Pranteks PH-TC12DX, the cooler looks fantastic however there is a few things the Pranteks need to look at.

1, the fan's was prefitted to save missing. however you then have to remove the fan to fit the cooler to any socket.
2, the fans was set up in push push lol. it was a pain refitting the clips to rotate one of the fans
3, this is the most important. the sticker on the contact surface was just that a sticker. so when i removed it there was a lair of glue left on the surface that i had to use alcohol to remove and rub very hard so not the perfect surface is marked up to hell.

Cooler is now fitted, lets hope it performs ;)

I bought a Phanteks PH-TC12DX a while back (then bought another second-hand because I fancied a change in colour) and didn't have any of those problems.

The fans and heatsink came in 3 separate sections of a cut foam block, with a section of foam separating each fan from the heatsink. The metal clips to hold the fans to the heatsink, and the plastic clips to attach the metal clips to each corner of the fan came in a separate plastic bag. None of it was pre-assembled as you're indicating yours was. The sticker on the base of the heatsink was just a square of plastic, there was certainly no glue holding it to anything and it came off with a slight pull and absolutely no residue.

Are you sure you bought it brand new and not second hand, mate?

yes from OcUK.

there is no foam to divide the cooler into 3 pices and wound not be room.

Hi, like Stu above, I've used the same cooler (July) and it was packaged as he described. I had to fit the fans to it.

It could somehow be second-hand from the sounds of it, you know, mistakes are sometimes made. Not that it should impact performance (especially after changing that push-push setup...). But if you're irked about it, you could contact Phanteks to confirm whether they've changed the packaging setup.

there is not room in the box for all 3 to be pack individual. it was NEW and a sealed box from OcUK.

also on the subject Phanteks packing... i got a enthoo primo in the post today from OcUK and the box had taken a hit, the top and front panels had every mounting clip smashed off. a case that saze and waight needs more then 1" of foam. so that as to be RMA'ed.

al not having a geed time with Phanteks.

probably second hand then :o

OMG it was new.
cooler is back in the box i will photo how it looks latter.

Ok, i dont how there is room for more packing to box it the way you guys are saying it should be?
