Prayers For Phil Hughes

Tragic incident. Feel very sorry for him and his family and hope he makes a full recovery.

We should also hope that the bowler Sean Abbott, who is just 22, can also come to terms with it whatever happens as he must be in a awful place now mentally.

I feel for the bowler like has been said, it's going to be hard for him to get over I feel.

Freakish accident and according to the BBC only 100 cases ever of this happening, and of course this is the first time with a cricket ball.

I was genuinely shocked by the accident and this is a tragic outcome. I really feel for Sean Abbot, hopefully he won't lay any blame on himself and will get through this unscathed.

Don't have to be cricket fan to understand the tragedy and sorrow in this.
RIP Phil, thoughts are with family, friends and sporting colleagues.
Terribly sad.
 
Awful awful news, obviously sorry for Hughes and his friends and family, but what must Sean Abbot's head be like - no blame to him, but I guess that won't be of any consolation.

A terrible day for cricket, and sport in general......
