Hi,

I'm in the midst of deciding if my budget warrants me getting a new PC or not. I am looking to replace my somewhat dated system with a prebuilt Overclockers PC. My budget is around £500-600 and I would prefer not to have to build it myself. My current specs are:

Intel core duo 6300 @ 1.86ghz
2gb of ram
Nvidia GTS 8800
Im not sure which motherboard it is, but it wasnt an expensive one.

Will the PCs that overclockers offer for around my price range offer a substantial upgrade for playing games such as WOW?

I wouldnt go building a whole new pc just for WOW, spend a fraction of that on some new hardware cpu/ram/graphics maybe a new monitor.

What Os and monitor do you use mate.?

New CPU, add 2 GB of RAM and maybe a new GFX card, 4870 1GB or something and youd be sorted. Flog the reundant bits or not, weither way you'd have plenty of change.

Id go for this. Personally, I have an overclocked E6600 (3.4ghz) that Ive had for quite a while. The PC handles everything I chuck at it adequatly (Apart from SupCom and SupCom:FA which would be the only reason I would buy a quad).
