Pre Built Haswell Gaming PC Advice Please

Hi, I need a new PC I want one for gaming mostly but it will be used for watching YouTube and emails also. I don't play FPS the game I play the most is Skyrim with the 2k textures and script heavy mods, I'd like to be able to use an ENB also.

I have been looking at the pre built Haswell systems and after hours of comparing I'm more confused than ever. I am aware that building one myself would be cheaper but I can't, I'm not being a pathetic girl :), a trapped nerve in my neck has made my left arm and hand almost useless and being left handed you can see my problem.

I'd like to keep it as close to £1000 as possible but I am willing to go a few hundred over, I am also buying the BenQ XL2411T as the monitor I have at the moment is about 10 yrs old and really need replacing and if anyone can recommend a mouse mat for me please I'd be a very happy gal, the one I am using is an old yellow one I had to get because my old mouse would only work on light colored surfaces, now I have a Razer Death Adder left handed I really want a new mouse mat that is suitable for gaming and not yellow.

Thanks

good call on the Bayonet System. The GFX and SSD choice are great.

SSD will make a big difference to boot times and loading times in general. And of course, faster data transfers.

It`s not a bad system for the price. Only drawback, considering the OP`s condition, will be fitting the cooler, assuming you don`t send out already fitted.

I am aware that building one myself would be cheaper but I can't, I'm not being a pathetic girl , a trapped nerve in my neck has made my left arm and hand almost useless and being left handed you can see my problem.

So if the OP does decide on this, maybe an CL cooler would be better.

Thanks Idleman I was looking at that one again today, I take it you think the HIS HD 7950 IceQ BOOST 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card is better than the KFA2 Geforce GTX 770 2048MB Graphics Card?
I can't decide whether to get Widows 7 or Windows 8, I know some don't rate Windows 8 at all and others love it and I'm left just as unsure after all that reading as when I started.

For price and performance and the fact it fits in your budget is why I suggested the 7950. But the 770 is the better card and is on a par with the 7970, so you are looking at an extra £80. You would need to have a look at some gaming bench comparisons to see which one would be of more benefit to you.

In regards to which OS to get, you could try Win8 evaluation for a few months to test it out and if you don`t like it, then get Win7.

The Krypton mat is supposed to be really good and the OCUK mat also comes recommended on the forums.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte Krypton Dual Sided Gaming Surface £22.99
1 x OcUK Mega Mat Medium Elite Tactical Gaming Surface £9.95
Total : £35.92 (includes shipping : £2.48).

Have a read through this thread, will be of interest to you.

The only advantage of 7950 I can think of is if you would be running extremely RAM heavy Skyrim mods - but I think with what you're using now you should be fine with GTX 770 - it's a solid card (I've got one ^^).

As to Windows 8 - it's a matter of persornal preference - so I'd follow Idleman's advice with the evaluation version and find out for myself.

As to the gaming mat - I'm using this one:

and it's really solid - I've even washed it in a washing machine a few times and it's still like new ^^

I had just about made up my mind to get the Bayonet and had a look at the Titan 445i Scythe its a slightly better PC it seems and it would cost less with the same changes in both of them. For the Scythe its £1231 and the Bayonet is £1267 am I missing something?

The thing with Syrim is your never sure what mods you may be using, there's a few good one that will be coming out soon I know I'm Beta testing one and what about the ENB's are they RAM heavy? I'm not even sure if I want to run one but I'd like to have the choice.

The Steelseries QcK Gaming Mouse Pad is out of stock so I'll go with the OcUK one I just don't have a lot of room at the moment for a bigger one.

It would seem the only differences being the Scythe has a higher OC and no choice of cases. So, if you are happy with the case, then the Scythe would seem the better deal.
Sorry, i can`t help you in regards to Skyrim mods etc, in regards to which card will perform better. You might be better off asking on one of the Skyrim forums, form someone who knows what you are talking about. Also, as I mentioned before, check out various comparison and benchmark reviews for the cards.
