Pre built options??

Hey guys, looking for some advice about the pre built systems on here... Currently ma set up goes

Core 2 DUO E6600 @ 3.6GHZ - AW9D MAX Motherboard - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro - Cellshock 2GB Ultra Dual Channel Kit OC - BFG 8800 GTXoc'd 768MB - 500GB WD HD - BFG 1000W Power Supply - SyncMaster206bw - Vista Premium 32-Bit

A really want to upgrade pretty soon but since things have moved on in the pc world and av been left behind av not got a clue whats what?? A basically want to buy the best pre built system a can for my budget which is £550 for basically only playing games on.... So which systems on here would you recommend?
 
Thanks for the info mate but should have said that my current set up is getting passed along to my folks for them to use and only thing am keeping is the 22" Samsung monitor thats why a was looking for a ready made system... A see where your going with a build it myself build but really just after a plug n play system that all av to do is plug monitor into and away a go :) what would be my best option from the systems already on sale here? Am not keen on building my own unit so thats not really an option mate.... Am guessing a system on here would be much better than am currently running as thats about 5 yrs old lol
 
Yeah your rite about the i5 build for kind of future proofing if a want to change things around.... How would that one a found stack up against my old system? Are we talking slight difference for gaming or not to noticable? When a bought my original system it cost around £1200 so just shows how fast things move along in pc land haha
