Pre built pc

Hi my friends bought a prebuilt pc from OCUK, and is having trouble getting it too boot, from what i can gather he is using a 1280x1024 rez on his current monitor, would his new pc not start due to trying to change from a 1920x1080 rez if it was tested at this rez

If he trys to boot in safe mode, it says something like cannot start setup or initialize in safe mode

His Order number was 4492337

Any clues before he rings Monday ?

Do you have a spare 1080p monitor around?

It should auto detect the max res of the connected monitor and auto switch to that so I doubt that's the problem.

Get your friend to reseat the RAM, re-plug the PSU cables, see if that works out for him.

worth a look, i had a new build that would not post but i reseated the ram and worked sweet as a nut
