hi everyone, interested in becoming a PC gamer. Budget of £1000.

Require a pre built PC, require all of accessories including monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset. Looking to play games at 60FPS + and 1080p or above.

Gaming looking to play
Call of duty
Fifa
Manor lords
Battlefield

Any advice would be appreciated.

A grand for a full set up does not go far with pre builts unfortunately.

You could probably pick up a really nice used set up for your budget though.

With games like call of duty and FPS games AMD based systems tend to give you best bang for buck.

If you’re not interested in a used set up is there any reason other than being new to the hobby as to why you couldn’t build your own? There’s really not that much to it once you’ve sorted your parts list which the forum would help with. It probably means you’ve got 150-200 more to play with in parts.

You could get something like this build:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £978.96 (includes delivery: £0.00)

I don't know much about which monitor, keyboard/mouse and headset to pick, so wouldn't suggest you buy those without doing some research first.

wired keyboard/mouse with this system, so no lag nor sudden hangs, no charging to worry about, no sudden full drop out because of losing juice, monitor is a nice IPS one for great colours, and good blacks 180 hz will last you a good while, you could mess around with lower setting to see how high fps the rtx 360 could get you, it's an okay card really, my youngest has one and he is more than happy with it's performance, the headset is not true 7.1 surround, only virtual, but again, my youngest uses virtual surround, and he seems to know where everything is by sound in hunt showdown

Total: £999.88 (includes delivery: £0.00)
