My current PC is basically on its last legs (e6750, 8800 GTS, 2GB Ram) and im looking to upgrade to one of OC'ers pre-built systems. Im not up to date on the recent hardware and was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a good gaming rig.
I want a system which is last me for a few years with all the new games coming out, my budget is from about £800-£1000.

Any advice would be appreciated. Just need the base unit got everything else.

I've been looking this stuff up today also (for a custom build by me) and the advice dished to me was go for an i5 2500k on a Gigabyte UD4 motherboard. All other parts are at your discression.

That's what I opted for. Don't get pre-build would by my suggestion. Building a rig is surprisingly easy and great fun. Gives you a bit more flexibility too. I've done a simple multiplier only oc of the 2500k to 4.2ghz and the UD4 seems rock solid. Would definitely recommend.

I have looked at building my own PC, but it could prove a costly mistake if I happen to break somthing lol! which is highly likely.

Perhaps using OC system configuration tool? I was able to select both the Gigabyte UD4 MB and the i5 2500k via that.

Would that be a sensible option? If I could get some advice on other parts for the system?

Thanks for all the advice.
I am looking at the Titan Spinosaur but wondering what GPU I should be going for? I was looking at both the GTX 460 and the ATi 6950. Which of these cards would be better or which card would offer me the best value?
I have read you can bump up the 6950 to 6970 levels? No idea but could someone elaborate?

Do ATi cards still have a lot of driver issues?

Once again I appreciate any advice.
