Hey,
A couple of years back I purchased a pre-built Packard Bell as at the time I knew nothing about building my own and just wanted something then and there.
I am just wondering what the general feeling is towards being able to overclock factory made PC's like the one I have?
I am not expecting to be able to it's just a question that had been bugging me. I suspect the components wont be of high enough quality but i'm not sure.
What I have: (I am in serious need of an upgrade)
Q6600
A Packard Bell Motherboard (MCP73VT-PM)
3GB DDR2
Nvidia GeForce 7050 (On-board Graphics)
250W PSU
Nowadays that is a pretty weak system but back when I bought it I thought it was great value for money. The on-board graphics are terrible and the 250W holds me back from upgrading.
I am a student but my summer job will get me something nice I hope.
