Pre Built VS Self Built

After doing as much research as possible, I had come to the conclusion self building was the way to go and came up with this contains competitor links - removed which I think is a decent build? Although would also get more storage.

But then after looking at some pre builts https://www.overclockers.co.uk/tita...-core-i5-7600k-4.8ghz-kabylake-fs-124-og.html

I might be not seeing something I should but if I upgrade this to the same cpu and gpu, the price is slightly cheaper plus it comes with a 3 year warranty +built for me? Which overall seems better?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Depends what resolution and Hz your screen is , 70ti on a 1080p 60hz screen is a bit of a waste of cash and power .

Easily handle 1440p gaming , keeps costs down and no need for high end cooling

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,158.42 (includes shipping: £12.60)

Keeps Asus board but changes GPU

Hey thanks for the reply, it would be for a 1080p 144hz monitor so I guess my main focus would be a stable 144fps and longevity. Will really look into this build you posted thanks, is the i7 really not worth it if I have extra to spare?

It's would last longer, and at 1080p your more CPU bound .
If your going to overclock yourself or have someone do it , 8700k on z370 board is worth it. Just don't get a cheap board and good cooling.
Non K 8700 chip is still damn good to. 4.3ghz on all 6 cores with 12 threads , and keeps costs down

You could even lower GPU to 1070 as that should push 110hz ultra just fine on most games .

Pricing is wrong, released it pulled 2 X 1070
