hey all, I just made a thread relating to this but I dont know how to delete it so I'[ll make another. Anyways, Im after a pre built bundle and OCUK are quite cheap in comparison to competitors so I am going for them. I've currently seen 2, the super nova x79 bundle for 566, here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-103-OE and this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-093-OE with the £20 p9x79 PRO upgrade, total 667. I am wondering, which is the best value? obviously they are pre overclocked, I will be using 2 cards eventually, I currently have 1 HD6950 card that I'll be fitting. Which is the best option? or can you find me a pre built bundle that is better and more value for money under £720?
The reason I am going pre built is that a lot of motherboards don't support the 3820 processor, because it was released after the boards were made, so they released a bios update. the problem is, if they arent updated, i wont even be able to get to post stage to update the bios. Plus, it is only around £70 more for the pre built, so I think its worth it.

Thanks for the help, hopefully I can have it ordered this afternoon. Stephen

anyone? I've got to go to work shortly and would love to have it ordered now so that I can transfer money to my bank to pay for it. Thanks!!!

Its only been 24 minutes since you started the thread, give people a chance.

Heres my reply from your other thread,

Yes you qualify for free delivery - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sh...&posted=1&utm_source=forums&utm_medium=banner

As for the two bundles you linked, as theres approximately a £80-90 difference in price between the two and both have the same overclocked speed setting set by OcUK, I would get the cheaper one and use the difference to upgrade your SSD to something like a Samsung 830.

my apologies - didnt see the other reply. is the p9x79 pro not worth the extra £90? I have an SSD but I could get a 256gb SSD I guess. Or just save it lol. Thanks!

Well to determine if its worth £90 to you,

Is there anything between the two boards features that you consider worth the extra to you?

Specs of both boards,

edit..the Gigabyte bundle includes two games vs one for the Asus bundle:) that must sell it for you?:D

it just makes me wonder why its so much cheaper if it is just as good? think ill go gigabyte... thanks

Well Gigabyte certainly arent a rubbish manufacturer, the Motherboard has a 3 year warranty.

The overclocked Bundle also has a "Full 12 Month collect and return warranty"

one final thing, would you say it is worth spending an additional 120 pounds on buying the components seperately, but getting a 3930k as apposed to the 3820?
