are you keeping with your current gfx?

pah ignore, i scan read the list not the top...

looking good, have you not considered going for the ddr3 setup, ocuk doing good prices on that at the mo

How come? They a better overclocker?

Not sure if they clock better but at 1000Mhz they will be all you need to clock that chip as far as it will go and much cheaper, you could probably get away with some PC6400 for even less and it would still do the same job.

Well for the last month or so I have been reading posts from other people and I have seen a lot of "DDR3 is overpriced for the performance gain".

I admit I haven't looked into it lately, suppose I will this afternoon :)

psu wise have a look at the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad-SLi PCI-E 750W Power Supply.

for the cpu cooler any reason you havent gone for the tuniq/thermalright ultra ?

hard drive have a look at the samsung f1 1tb, can get 2tb for the price of the 300gb raptor.

I am currently using the Thermalright ultra, the IFX-14 looks like a monster! :D I suppose if it doesn't perform as well as the ultra I will just revert back to it.

The F1 is a slower drive, I don't need a drive as large as 1tb

Will the 750w PSU be good enough for 2 4870x2?

Get 2 samsung f1's and raid them. They will be faster tham than the velico raptor as well as cheaper.

Whats the 80mm fan for btw?

The 80mm fan is for the backside cooler.

Don't suppose you have any links handy of hdd benchmarks to shows 2xF1s are faster? -I will be looking this up now :p

If so, thanks for saving me more money!
