Ill post a pic up in a min, it looks good, exellent build quality.Mikey1280 said:Hi, I read somewhere that if the hard drive is resonating against the case then the cheapest and easiest way to stop this is to buy some velcro, put two strips on the hard drive and the strips above in the cage (this is made easier if you have a removable cage). Then just stick the hard drive onto the cage so it is suspended and this stops and vibration getting to the case. This is not as effective as a silentmax enclosure but it is much cheaper and the hard drive is still kept cool.

Sorry i forgot all about this thread, ill sort a pic out now, they look good but there blue not black as pictured on ocuk website. It does work and the good thing is its reuseable just undo the thumb screws take 4 screws out of the top panel and pop your new hdd inHey Mark A did you ever do those pictures of the silentmaxx?? As i am interested in this thanks
, its good quality and will last a lifetime. Mine stays around 22oc idle but rises to around 30oc after a defrag, i was abit worried at first about the hdd overheating but this doesnt seem to be the case, i think the enclosure being aluminum works as a big heatsink. The one i got seems to be an upgraded version from the one i read reviews on, it used to come with silver foil inside but now comes with a silicone heat transfere pad.
