If this headset uses Dolby Pro Logic IIx, am I right in saying it separates the channels into true 7.1 rather than what early versions did and create virtual surround sound (upconverts) into 7.1 from 5.1?

If someone does get these, I would really like to know if it makes a real difference in first-person-shooters, and how does it sounds with music. Bear in mind I have an excellent Sennheiser PC350 for mostly music.

I read you get upto 10 hours of use from single charge and a good range of upto 12 meters. You can also turn off surround sound mode by using the switch on the left ear cup.
 
ive got the wired version of these (g35).
good sound and the mic is quality.
...never liked wires, so im looking to see a review on these, if they are as good as my wired ones ill be making a purchase :D
