wheres the best place to preorder from to ensure delivery for release day?

is it from one of the unmentionable high street stores or would it be HMV, amazon etc?

if it is one of the unmentionables please just say so dont say/hint at the name of the place as I wont be held responsible for you suspension/ban :D

I heard that one high street store is almost guaranteed, but they charge full price for the games, so you could also go to their shops. Although sometimes the game comes the day before release.

I have pre ordered from amazon for the first time so I hope they do a good job. I also hear shopto are good as they have a guarantee system that if it doesnt reach you by release day they give you some money back.
 
Place I go "to shop", guarantees delivery on release date. I got my copy of HR early when I pre ordered from them. Although, no one I've ever preordered from has missed launch day delivery :D
 
Amazon got my pre-order to me on release, most do aim to, even Jersey based retailers.

I think I use that shop too, It's been spot on every time.

I've had pre-orders from HMV and Game that both arrived the day before release; they were full price but had nice exclusive downloads.

Play always seem to get pre-orders to me for the day of release.
 
I've got a pre-order for GoW3 from Gameplay which I'm vaugely concerned about, but apart from that I'm shopto all the way. I always order via their text service too, so I get £1 off my next order :)
