Hiya i've got a Nad C350 and a Rotel Poweramp which uses the pre outs from the Nad to work. Which was all working dandly.

Though ealier i connected my d player into one of the other Pre outs on the nad and its completely bypassed any functions of the nad now and jus passes the signal through t the poweramp even if the Nad is switched off and none of the volume comtrols work. It just seems really weird that it works like this

I think some of the letters are missing on your keyboard... But if I read what your saying correctly, your Nad has multiple pre-outs, your using one set to drive the Rotel power amp, and you accidently? connected a CD player to the secondary pre-outs.

I expect the pre-outs are simply wired in parallel, so if you feed a single into the secondary pre-outs, it will go straight to the poweramps.
