IF you had to choose between the 'very lazy' jarred stuff in vinegar, the frozen chopped stuff or KTC or similar paste in jars .. ...... which would you choose? Or are there any other, better options? I want something that needs no prep. This is for use in small amounts, about 3-4 cloves worth at a time, about once per week maybe.

etc

I always use fresh garlic btw, before anyone suggests that :p

Thanks :)

If I was held at gunpoint then I'd buy them all and see which I prefer.

Or just mash and freeze some garlic to meet your requirements?

If I was eating it out of the packet I would try that but trying to save some time asking here :p
freezing it would be a great idea but that requires prep which I want to avoid. Thanks tho

If you aren't fussed about it having the full kick of fresh chopped garlic and just want to add some garlicy flavour, how about using garlic powder or granules for convenience and shelf life?
Granules have their place and I use them often but it's not the same thing really.

Don't you have time to do a one-off prep? If you have time to go to the supermarket then surely you have time to prep 3 months worth in one go? Put it into an ice cube tray then you have it ready to go in cubes.

It's not about the time, otherwise I'd agree with you. This would be a fantastic idea. It isn't for me though. Time is not the issue. Appreciate the advice though :)

You assume he'd make a special trip to the supermarket to buy a single item, rather than just popping that item into the trolley next time he's there? :D

Also, there's the very very lazy option - https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/VeryLazy/Homepage/page/EF6430FA-8951-44E9-8194-DF29D086EC10 - they'll pop it right through the mailbox

Shopping isn't a problem here. I might give the paste a try too. I've used the KTC brand before and it was good (cheap too) but a bit more clumpy than what I was hoping for in this case. Good stuff though. Thanks.

Ah, I mis-read what you wrote. Apologies, I'm not trying to be 'that guy' (although I've made this statement twice today so maybe I am that guy :o) who ignores what OP says and offers unhelpful advice.

Tesco do a frozen chopped that isn't bad either tbh:

Probably identical to the M&S one you linked above, I imagine most supermarkets have some version of it.

You can also get the pre-peeled cloves in jars, combined with a garlic crusher it's super quick and easy.
Have you tried the very lazy stuff as well? If so which would be your choice to replace fresh? Cheers
