Hi I just read this on another forum

Does the Epox bios have the option for Preamble and Max Async Latency. If it doesn't, then you will have trouble hitting 330+.

DFI all the way, those options are there for a reason, for max flexibility.

What options do you have to change regarding preamble and async latency for best overclocks, I take it they have something to do with the memory? Guys with Dfi boards what have you got yours set at please?

I find MAL 9 Preamble 8 is a really nice tweak to get 2x1Gb running well on a divider, its especially good if you're finding yourself unable to use low dividers with Geil Value 2x1Gb kits and the like. Overall though 9/8 is pretty slow, 6/7 or 7/8 is better with good modules.

Wouldn't this thread be better in the memory section?
