Hi,

From all the threads requesting advice, I'd guess you guys should be paid for your services! :D

I am a complete novice when it comes to gaming PC's, although I do know a little terminology. I don't really know where to start so was hoping for some guidance.

I'm looking for a pre-built system that would play games such as BF3, ARMA 2/DayZ and Skyrim at maximum settings and for the lowest price possible (doesn't everyone?). I would be looking for one ideally with a monitor, although this isn't a necessity.

I'm so unfamiliar with prices etc that I don't have an idea how much a machine like this would cost. Ideally, I'd be happy with a machine under £1000 (as low a price from this as possible) and one that would possibly be upgradable in future. Sorry for the huge, novel-like request and my expectations if they are unrealistic. Any advice, suggestions etc would be very gratefully received.

Thanks very much for all the replies guys, I'm gonna have a look at the suggestions made so far. Obviously the news that it could be done for approx £750 is good to hear :)

It would be great if I could even build a system that would play BF3 and Dayz comfortably off the bat, and then upgrade components in the near future. I'm gonna play around with the configurator today, if any does have build suggestions for around the £750 mark, that'd be much appreciated.

With the above Titan, I was wondering if it would play recent games (BF3 and Skyrim mainly) decently when upgrading the GPU to the Sapphire HD 7950?

Oh, and thanks again everyone for the replies, I'm learning a lot from just reading about all these components.
