Hey, I'm looking for a pc to primarily play large sandbox, 4x, and mmorpgs like, city skylines, planet zoo, world of warcraft.
Budget is £700-1000
Ideally 1080p with the option to go 1440p with lower settings.
Im unsure on vram/ram 2x16? Overkill or 12-16vram may be overkill too?
I've read a lot about the x3d feature being very useful especially for world of warcraft. I Seen one already prebuilt

Im Curious is this my best option for the price and my needs? Or perhaps someone can find me cheaper without losing much performance.

That looks like a perfect machine for your needs.

32 gig of ram is sensible especially as its so cheap.

16 gig of vram is a sensible option as it means your gpu will be more relevent for longer than buying a 8 or 12 gig card and struggling with lack on vram in a couple of years.
Just curious how long would you expect this pc to last?
You could build it yourself for less but obviously you will have no more warrenty over the standard manufaturer parts duration.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,023.88 (includes delivery: £0.00)

I have upgraded a couple of parts especially the psu. The cooler is better but you could use the same one as OC use for £18.

You can download windows 11 from microsoft and get a key for approx £10-£15.
Great! thank you very much, this is super helpful. Just curious for this price range should I be looking to go for a AM5 mobo? I realize that completely changes the build but is helpful for future proofing from what I read.

This is first time researching this stuff and it's a lot of info n mixed opinions.
