Hey guys,
My system is working fine but I'd like to go over a few things with you more experienced members. To make sure I haven't missed a step or made a mistake.
I decided to update my BIOS as the last version was over a year old. With the update procedure carried out on restart from BIOS the system gave me a black screen. After a couple of minutes I decided to restart the computer and all is fine. It boots normally, works as it should and the BIOS is running the latest version. Is that normal?
I went back into BIOS and activated the DOCP profile for the RAM and then proceeded to enable Precision Boost Overdrive leaving the other settings at Auto. My understanding is that PBO will take care of the overclocking for me?
Have I missed any steps? Does PBO need any additional tinkering?
Thanks
