Looking for advice, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of reviews for this relatively new Acer. I think I want to stay with 1080p at the 24-25" size range as I am concerned about text size in Windows with 1440p although I have not managed to find one of those on display. On the other hand will the slightly smaller 89 PPI of this (or the Asus PG258Q) make text look less crisp?
I think I want the GSYNC so my options are limited. I don't like the look so much of the Asus PG258Q and this Acer is cheaper, and I'm not crazy about the other Asus/Acer/AOC 24" options. I've seen a TFT Central review of the PG258Q.
I realize 240 Hz is likely overkill. I am currently playing ME Andromeda and Ghost Recon Wildlands both on ultra. I get about 55-80 FPS on Wildlands. I generally get higher on ME but the tearing is so bad I use VSYNC.
Current setup:
LG W2252TQ, a 22" TN with 2 ms response, 60 Hz.
MSI Gaming X GTX 1070
4770K @ 4.3 GHz, 16GB 1600 MHz DDR
Windows 10
