Currently have a GTX 780Ti. Should I swap it now for a single GTX 970 (and add another down the line) or just add another GTX 780Ti for SLI?

Basically I can get a GTX 970 or GTX 780 Ti for the same price. Which would you get?

Is it really a lower price if you sell your current card for a loss though? Is your current TI struggling on its own?

OCUK did have 780ti's available for £250, not sure if that is still the case but would be the cheapest way to up the performance with SLI?

Well my GTX 780 Ti is somewhat faulty so I'll be getting a refund of ~£350. So that leaves me with options to buy something else.

What does a tenner worth of electricity matter over a year's gaming if you have to flog your ti at a big loss? As mentioned above ocuk had the ti on preorder at 250 notes which is cheaper than a 970, though you don't get a copy of the witcher 3

Ah well that is fair enough. Still you could get your refund, grab the £250 ti from here (if still available) and pocket the remaining £100 and keep it until the next cards come out.

Personally I would go with the ti, or look for a used 290x at a bargain price if you are OK with an AMD card? They can be had for buttons second hand.
