Hi
I'm looking at building a PC primarily for gaming, music, and uni work. Spec is roughly £1050 at the moment, this could change though. Just looking for an idea of what I can get for my money. I did like the idea of 2 x 24" screens, but I think I may shelve that for now and buy another 24" screen in the future. I fancy having an SSD and a good graphics card over an extra screen tbh. So with that in mind, I've come up with:
YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti Twin FrozR II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £178.99
1 x Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor £173.99
1 x BenQ G2420HDBL 24" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black £169.99
1 x Asrock Z68 PRO3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £105.98
1 x OCZ Agility 3 60GB 2.5" SATA-3 Solid State Hard Drive (AGT3-25SAT3-60G) £91.99
1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Bundle - Home Premium 64 Bit £68.40
1 x Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (WD5000AAKX) £29.99
1 x XFX Pro 550W Core Edition '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £54.98
1 x G.Skill RipJawsX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C9 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-17000CL9D-4GBXL) £54.98
1 x Cooler Master Elite 334 Midi Case - Black £30.98
1 x Speedlink Vivo 2.1 Subwoofer System - Black (SL-8209-SBK) £29.99
1 x Microsoft Wireless Media Desktop 1000 (ZHA-00007) £28.99
1 x Samsung SH-S222AB/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £16.99
Total : £1,062.90 (includes shipping : £22.20).
How's this look? No compatibility issues I hope! Not sure whether the mouse/keyboard are any good, especially for gaming too.
Oh and I need everything! Don't suppose a HDMI/DVI cable it provided with the card/monitor?
Thanks.
