Yeah I noticed.

It's probably better to go for the one with the none transparent anyway so I can maximise cooling. So I read that the Trooper has positive air pressure, thats something I would want to keep correct?

Corsair A50 Heatsink dimensions 159.5mm x 124.6mm x 81.2mm

The width of the case and convex side panel we have up to 186mm for the CPU cooler height.

Most 120mm fans are 25mm in depth.

So 159.5+25=184.5mm. Which only leaves 1.5mm clearance. A bit tight.

What if I got this instead of the corsair A50? or would that be going down in performance? From what I understand the height is less than the A50.

The Hyper is 4mm taller. The height of the cooler is`nt the problem. The distance between cooler and side panel, is the problem. If you wish to install a fan on the panel, you may have to find a fan with a depth smaller than 25mm.

Ahah umm ones Yates Loon the other was Scythe Kaze. The Kaze are 12mm depth the Yates are 20mm depth. So I can have either a 6.5mm gap or a 14.5mm gap. But Im unsure about the Kaze fans :/ apparently they are quite loud.

They are not. Out of all the mobos in the link, about 6, are mATX boards.
