Here's the deal. Our engineers here at work often give me AVI files generated from their traffic simulation and modelling software. The problem is, they don't have many options on output - so the dimensions are often quite random....almost a standard size, but not quite.

Now, I have to bring them into Premier, add our logo and some basic labels, then output it as an MPEG or WMV file. The problem is, once I render the file, the logo the labels have all shifted - often off the image completely :( I have tried many, many tweaks in the Premier output options, but no joy. I suspect it's something to do with the weird dimensions of the files?

Any ideas on what I can do to retain the item positioning and get exactly what I see in Premier?

Thanks.

Are you using Adobe Media Encoder to output the video files from Premier? It should show you exactly what you will get at the end so you don't end up wasting time encoding video files where your logos are outside the frame.

Sorry, forgot to mention, it's only Premier Elements so I don't get the Media Encoder :( I assume you can't get it separately either?
