I’m somewhat surprised myself that the only manager to be replaced during the closed season was Ragnick, and that was already pre arranged.

As for the up coming season whom do we see being the favourites for the chop? Conte, Ten Hagg, Howe and perhaps the newly promoted 3 managers are going to be in the most spotlight. Hasenhuttl, Rodger’s and Gerrard were a little hot and cold.

I'll go with Lampard already, lost Richarlidson, brought in Tarkowski, a defender who got relegated and nothing else so far with the Richarlidson fee as that go towards balancing the FFP books that they are in a hole with.

Can see them being in the bottom 4 again over the first 10 games.

Lampard would be one of the faves, Fulham always bin the manager off when they're struggling post promotion so they'll be contenders if they start poorly.

Rodgers a reasonable outside bet, got a free pass for an average season last season as they had injuries etc but if they start slow again I think Leicester might pull the trigger.

This game was much easier when Watford were in the PL. There's no outstanding candidate there for me - I know people will say Lampard but I think the mess Everton are in right now will have lowered expectations to the point that things will have to go very bad for him to go, at least early in the season.

I've gone with Rodgers. It's probably not fair on him but, the opposite to Lampard & Everton, he raised expectations at Leicester with their starts to the 19/20 and 20/21 seasons only to collapse in the final few months and then followed that up with a fairly average season last season. A slow start for Leicester and I think he could be gone.

Hasenhuttl

Southampton were poor back end of last season, if they get off to a poor start he may get the boot.

Lampard is another great shout for obvious reasons

Southampton would be mad to get rid of Ralf. Yes they swing from very good to very bad a lot but he's got them, on the whole, massively punching above their weight and without him they'd be in the championship already.

Toss up between Lamps and Gerard for me.
I can see Everton struggling. Unless Villa are absolutely woeful and are in the bottom three come Christmas I can’t see Gerrard getting the boot, the board seems to be in on his building a team for the next few years and not after instant gratification.
