Premier League tickets - how do I buy them?

Hi guys,

For anyone who goes to watch Premier League games, how do you go about buying tickets for them? The whole process seems a little confusing...

I'm a Liverpool fan and live reasonably close to London so I would like to see them play a London based team - I really don't mind who, just watching them at all would be good.

What do I have to do to get tickets for said game - do I have to buy a LFC membership to even have any hope of getting a ticket?

Thanks for the advice guys. Would anything be wrong with doing the following? Becoming a member of a London based team such as Fulham (Would they be the easiest to get big 5-6 tickets for?) and going to Liverpool play them away. Or would all the seats automatically be taken by the Fulham fans with a season ticket as opposed to just a membership?
