Hi Guys,

I recently changed by System from vista professional 32bit to win7 professional x64 because i want to max out my RAM,

Installed Premiere Pro CS3 on the 64 bit windows, and tried to render a movie, but it is SOOOO Painfully slow, to render a 90 minute movie it says it is going to take 27 hours, left the machine running for a whole day and it only got to 10%, any ideas???? Please!!!!

btw running PPro on Vista 32bit rendering a 90minute movie took 2-3 hours

and i have tried running it in compatability mode.......no joy:mad:

namoc - dont think so, Will recheck anyway, all were the same

Superwza - Core2Quad 2.4ghz, Q6600, 4GB RAM, 1.5TB HDD, its the same system i was running vista on and it worked ok, the only thing changed was the OS cos my Motherboard (Asus P5QLSE) can handle 8MB RAM

I think the issue is now heading in a different direction, the file i am trying to edit is an AVI file, possible encoded with XVID, and that might be why, anyone know of any easy ways around this
