How do chaps.

Quick question really, just getting into video editing but only basic stuff for now.

I've bought the magic bullet mojo plugin for colour grading and the twixtor plugin for slow-mo stuff and they both work in Prem and AE.

So in a nutshell, is there any reason why for using these plugins I should be in AE as opposed to doing it directly from my final timeline in Premiere?

I use twixtor through Premiere Pro with no issue. Quality seems good. I find AE too time consuming to use. Can't comment on mojo, but for Twixtor, just use PP.

Depends on what you're doing. If you're doing video production stuff, meaning editing, tweaking and mastering, you should be in Premiere. AE is for creating more complex effects / motion animations. If you're working in Premiere, stay in Premiere until you need to create something more complex.
