I have 10k in Premium Bonds. Won 4 x £25 over the past year. I do get excited every time the draw is announced.

Had a few prizes over the years, £100, couple of £25. Daughter had a £25. Mum did win £10k around 10 years ago.

Spending the winnings early may not have been the best plan mate.
I never bother checking till day two - that is when the low prize winners go public.
I need two 25s - one for heating oil pot and the other to budget account. At the moment I am not holding my breath.
My very first win was £50 from a £1 bond bought in 60,s They had to chase me through about 9 house moves to notify me.

We get our wins texted to us, not sure of the full details as the other half gets the text
But I think it tells you what you have won where as it used to be that you had a win so you needed to log in

You're going to have to have an extra rummage. While the tickets are £1 each, I think the minimum holding is £10.

How are you contacted now if you win? I forgot to update my address. Done that 2 years ago and had 2 x £25 prizes waiting for me. Got 150 PBs

Actually I set my account up so that any winnings get paid straight back in and buy me more bonds.
Of course, there's a £50,000 limit so I assume that they'll tomorrow they'll transfer £49,800 into my bond account and send a cheque for the £999,800 difference.
