Premium with ATI?

Having a blank moment. Could someone tell me if I can run 2 x ATI 1900XT's on my Asus SLI premium board.

I'm sure you can just as I said having a blank moment and I'm curious.

No, that board is for Nvidia's SLI, not ATI's Crossfire. You'll need a crossfire board the run 2 ATI cards.

no you cant, but if you have a crossfire board you need to have a crossfire mastercard coupled with a slave to run in crossfire (without alcohol

)

Saw a review where 2 slave cards were paired together without the crossover cable and it was getting the same 3dmark score as with a master card installed.

Also there was talk a while ago where ati cards would work on nvidia boards and nvidia cards would work on ati boards - what a surprise that never happened.
