Prepare games before transferring to new PC?

I'm building a new system and have downloaded the usual (Windows, Chrome, Steam, etc) but the biggest delay between building the machine and playing will be waiting for games to download. Is there a way to pre-download them to my existing machine? I already have some of the games downloaded.

The two games I'm looking at are Rainbow Six and COD Warzone.

Yes, just download them on your old machine and then copy to your new one.

Most launchers have a "Locate installed games" like Uplay and steam. You just point it to the folder where the games installed and it will find it.

Pre download?

You can move Steam files by copy and pasting, and just need to reinstall Steam, that's all.

I did it when i bought a new SSD soley for games.
