Preparing for GTA V

Isn't it out already?

Please read my post that I posted an hour or two ago.

Never mind, ill quote it for you:
is there a release date for pc?

Weird that no one answered this. No there isn't. But don't worry too much. Most GTA games that come out as "console exclusives" come out on PC in about half a year to just over a year. So obviously, its a big wait, but itll definitely be worth it in the end.
If you dont need the upgrades for anything else, then id recommend you wait out until GTA V actually gets announced or comes out for PC>

There is some proof in some of the codes of the games that GTA V will come out on PC and PS4. But then again, it could just be made up to try and attract attention to the website!

Saw title... first thing I thought was lube and a hot bath  lol

But on a serious note... so many people upgrade for one game. I hope it's worth it :D

That calculation has been put over the internet for the past month or so.
In my opinion. Just try and stop thinking about the PC version coming for now. It's bound to come, but not for a while. Thinking about it everyday will only get you more stressed out.
The surprise of seeing it released would probably give you a better sense of feeling than waiting for it .

Plus, I reckon that due to the next gen consoles being released soon, Im predicting that we may see GTA V just after christmas or even before.
They should be sucking up sales as we speak and once they do announce it for the next gen and PC, they should bring in even more sales, including from people who have bought it for consoles. Just my thoughts.

why? there is no game current or unreleased that takes full advantage of a hyperthreading quadcore yet.

OP, sorry to sound harsh, but until the game is announced for pc, it is pointless speculation and anyone speccing you a thread is wasting yours and their own time.

Sorry I should have explained more, the CPUs are getting older now yet still worth a little bit, he said in his OP up to a grand so he may aswell go all new CPU, Motherboard, RAM aswell as the graphics card, selling in his old setup before its worth pennies. It's just what I'd do, he's also not overclocked it yet so making the assumption he either doesn't know how too or is unsure on doing it.
