I have done that before but I'm not so sure this time with Windows 2000!
When new HDD is detected in Windows 2000 and using Windows' disk management, I had created two partitions (old HDD has two partitions) then formatting. In the end, new HDD is showing as 'dynamic'?!
However, I deleted the partitions then I am now doing it all over again, it is now showing 'basic' instead of dynamic.
But where does the 'dynamic' comes from in the first place? Is it to do with not restarting PC after partitioning?
