Preparing photos for printing?

Hi all,

I have about 50 photos I want to get printed off. I loaded them onto an online site, photobox, but it was setting the crop boundry in funny places and doing some weird things to the photos. I assume this is because the images themselves aren't the same size as the photo size I wanted (6x4).

Is there a fairly quick way of sorting out the cropping offline, to the right photo dimensions, so that when I upload them for printing there is no messing about?

You can do it in any basic image editor but it will be one photo at a time if you want control over the crop

Presumably you're using a camera/compact? In which case your photos will be 4x3 so you could always try printing on 5x7. Still not completely accurate but will need less cropping.
