Present and future Sci-Fi MMORPG's?

the only sci fi MMOs i know about (and have been vaguely following) are star trek online and stargate worlds but as far as i know, they wont be out of beta stages for at least a year (perhaps 2)

i just hope they wont be wow clones in space - i cant stand wow at all

Seems more of a sci-fi MMOFPS though.

I just started Eve online 14 day trial yesterday

can't even do the first proper mission im given

I first went there with some newly fitted guns on my Slasher ship that i just bought... didnt realise you needed ammunition lol...

so i went and bought ammunition, only to realise I needed charges...

finally got charges, managed to destroy one bad guy... but then one of my guns ran out and the other one wasnt damaging the other guy enough... and I had to blow up some habitat area as well

damn
