preserving installs

I have my windows install and certain programs on my SSD (C drive) but most of my games are on a 2TB hdd(D drive).

Is there a way of savings the entries in windows for the installs on my D drive? ie the start menu shortcuts and when I open add remove programs.

I plan on wiping my SSD and reinstalling windows soon am wondering what my options are for things installed on other drives?

Installs of applications can be a pain in the butt. Some move, most don't. As long as you backup the data that is used you should be OK.

For example, game save data, maps et al.
