No, it's not about how to type unicode characters. I came across this yesterday. Not sure if it's been covered in another thread but wondered what GD's thoughts on it are:

No, I don't normally read the Metro but if this is as bad as they make out I'm surprised I'm not seeing more coverage of it elsewhere.

Forcing papers to pay costs of those who sue them unsuccessfully if they refuse to join the governments 'voluntary' regulation scheme - privately backed apparently - seems very, very dubious to me. I'm not sure about the Leveson II part of the petition / consultation. As far as I'm concerned papers hacking people's phones to satisfy the public's prurience is not remotely acceptable but I also don't want to see unfair restrictions on the press that could be abused for more important matters.

Anyone know anything about this? Apparently the closing date for feedback is tomorrow.
