Pressure washer on hot tap?

Had an outside tap fitted today, but they've fitted it to the hot water pipe rather than the cold, will this cause any problems?

I've turned the temperature down to minimum on the combi boiler(35°C), and the water comes out of the hose ever so slightly warmer than cold, is it OK to run like this, or should I ask them to swap to the cold water pipe instead? Cheers.

Either have both or cold only the waste of energy cleaning your car or watering the garden with warm water is shocking!

Isn't the pressure on the hot side normally less, as instead of mains pressure, you're getting the maximum the boiler can put out while heating the water? Will it be annoying for the rest of the household to effectively only have cold water because you've turned the hot water down to use the outside tap?

Personally, I think they've done the job wrong, as they should have connected to the cold water for a general outdoor tap.

As others have said get them to sort it, having to remember to turn the temp down on the boiler every time you want to use the pressure washer will be a pain and IIRC some use the water to cool their motor so you don't want to forget and be pumping hot water round the system.
