Group Lotus are being pathetic, the single reason they are using that livery is because Team Lotus said they were going to use it. It will look much better on the Team Lotus car, no doubt about it.

Simplicity, I find most cars with simple solid colours and low number of sponsors looks good.

The red "Total" parts really kill the colour scheme for me. If the endplates were black with gold Total writing then it would work a lot better.

Just realised how fat the tyres on that look. Looks much better than the current ones!
