I'm trying to access a samba share on a linux machine from a Vista workstation on a Windows Domain.
The problem is when I type the username, it automatically tries to resolve the user as a domain user, and it doesn't exist.
i.e.
if I type "username" in the login box, it auto-resolves to "<domain>\username" and obviously that doesn't allow me to log in.
I need to force it to just accept "username" or format it in such a way it ignores the domain.
Any ideas?
